ForensicsTournament.net is constantly being updated in response to user requests and new features. Each week, we will highlight the changes here.

  • Added: You can now enter half points (7.5) for sweepstakes points
  • Added: Tournaments can now decide whether or not registration data (school list, entry list, judge list) is shown on the public entries page
  • Added: Manually recording ballots (Tab->Record Results) will now mark all eBallots as accepted & result recorded
  • Updated some Support Articles on Accepting Credit Card Payments through the site and calculating fee sheets among others
  • Updated Event Prompts to use TinyMCE rich content editor which should speed up saving prompts. The “Copy from Event” dropdown now limits selections to other events with prompts
  • Fixed: Congress Repeat Round 1 sectioning strategy is now only available if there is a round 1 pairing to base off of
  • Fixed: issue with Announce Sheets on PRP elim system
  • Fixed: formatting for PRP Regions on IE and Debate Elims better formatted
  • Fixed: Sending Special Award Ballots to students via email is sending emails
  • Fixed: School Fee Calculations when a school has no judges registered for the tournament

ForensicsTournament.net is constantly being updated in response to user requests and new features. Each week, we will highlight the changes here.

  • Change Judges form now includes the option to change assigned judge to ZZ-BYE judge (scroll to bottom)
  • Entry Limits is now broken out as a separate menu item (Setup->Entry Limits)
  • Fellowship Awards are now available. You can print out paper ballots and/or send them to students via email or text. View more information on the Fellowship Award help page.
  • Ballot Review is now available. Coaches can review ballots of students not advancing to elimination rounds, view event rankings, and result sheets live during the tournament. Tournament Directors can control what is publicly available.
  • LiveStreams – fixed issue with timezone not appearing correctly
  • Regions
    • Schools can now set their AFA and PRP Regions.
    • Tournament directors can update if their tournaments will be using region information at their tournament.
  • You can now set that you are using AFA or PRP Regions for your tournament from Setup->Tab Settings->Tournament->schools
  • Tournaments can now set a “tournament time” which helps with online tournaments that have schools from around the country.
  • IEs
    • IE Preliminary Ranking now includes a Drop Low Rate criteria and Total Points in Event criteria.
    • StandardPrelim sectioning strategy now includes balancing entries according to Phi Rho Pi or AFA regions.
  • BP
    • There is now a setting to control whether or not the results are shown on the public postings. Setup->Tab Settings->British Parliamentary->General
